the power of media propanganda
i was doing through some research online regarding the google censorship in china issue and was quite intrigued by all the hoohaa. i was thinking, yea china shouldnt have tried to censor falungong, tianameng massacre and the dalai lama stuff from the internet, but then somethings not right. what does all this gotta do with google doing business in the first place.. ? so i tried to search for something more solid to satisfy my curiousity, it seems that google was trying to blame china for some trade rules issues which deprive the major western companies from get a share of china’s market. and it didnt really specify what kind of trade issues will hinder them. there wasnt anything solid to prove other than the human rights issue. anyone can tell this whole thing is totally blown out of proportion, if the people of china was really unhappy, the regime wouldnt have last that long.
its the same for everyone. who would wan to tell their grand children what murderous deeds they did in the past? no one. even the US have their share of cover ups. for example, was the actual thanks giving day publish in the history school book? it was just another bloody event cover up like the rest.
